Wisniewski, 65, of Hampton died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, in UPMC, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 13, 1942, in Pittsburgh to the late Herman and Valorie (Piotrzkowski) Wisniewski and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Richland. Ralph was a rotary wing aviator captain in the Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Army Aviator Badge, a Meritorious Unit Citation and the Vietnam Service, Air, National Defense Service and Vietnam Campaign medals. Surviving are his wife, Kay E. (Anderson) Wisniewski; sons, John (Darlene) Wisniewski of Wexford and Jim (Lauren) Wisniewski of Arlington, Va., and two granddaughters. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the HERBERT R. KING JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., 2841 Woodland Circle, Hampton. Additional visitation from 9 until a 10 a.m. service with military honors Saturday in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3832 Gibsonia Road. Private interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil. Contributions in memory of Ralph may be made to the North Hills Food Bank, 99 Corbett Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or Toys for Tots.
