More detail on this person: Billy Earl Ward Billy Earl Ward, 44, a San Angelo, Tex., resident and father of a Shreveport man, died Friday at 4:35 a.m. in Ft. Hood, Tex., after a brief illness. A native of Shreveport, Mr. Ward resided in Alabama before moving to San Angelo several weeks ago. He was a retired Army major, a Mason and a Baptist. He was the father of Billy Earl Ward Jr. of Shreveport. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Robert Massie Funeral Home Chapel in San Angelo. The Rev. Earl Sherman, pastor of College Hills Baptist Church will officate. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Cemetery of San Angelo with Masonic rites. In addition to his son, Mr. Ward is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jonnye Mae Ward; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Lee Ward; two daughters, Deborah Ward and Angela Ward, all of San Angelo, and a brother, Donald R. Ward of Shreveport. The family requests that memorials be made to the Heart Fund. (The Times - Shreveport, LA)
