'ART' BARD Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - Wednesday, December 29, 1999 A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Willamette National Cemetery for Raymond Watts Jr., who died Dec. 22 at age 62. Mr. Watts was born Oct. 3, 1937, in Columbia, S.C. He attended South Carolina State College before joining the U.S. Army in 1955. He served in Vietnam and later served as an aviation instructor and helicopter pilot. He retired from the Army in 1975 and moved to Portland in 1981. Survivors include his daughters, Tracey Watts-Smith of Fayetteville, N.C., Ramona Watts-Sutton of Lexington Park, Md., Zonya Watts of Portland and Shanda Watts-Lewis of Los Angeles; sons Rolf of Killeen, Texas, and Wendall of Greensboro, N.C.; sister, Thomasina Watts Williams of Fort Washington, Md.; and five grandchildren. Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the Julius Stokes Scholarship Fund at Portland Community College. Arrangements are by Crown Cremation & Funeral Service.
