Born in Sheldon, Mo., he moved to Casselberry from Savannah, Ga., in 1976. He was a retired Army chief warrant officer. He was a life member of the Sanford DAV and a member of the VFW, Winter Springs. Survivors: wife, Maria; mother, Lois Bowles, Sheldon; sons, Vincent R. Dobbins, Benjamin F. III, both of Casselberry, George J., Sheldon; sister, Norma Barlow, Los Altos, Calif.; three grandchildren. Central Florida Funeral Service, Orlando.
