More detail on this person: LCDR Stanley "Steve" Wass Suggested edit: LCDR Stanley "Steve" Wass served in Vietnam with Navy Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron 3, HA(L)-3 "Seawolves" from 1969-1970. He retired as a CDR, was modest about his medals (2 Distinguished Flying Crosses; a Bronze Star; 39 Strike/Flight Air Medals, among others) and his 20 years of service, but wore his leather aviator's jacket with great pride until he died.
