Robert Allen Woods deparrted February 19, 2014.
He was born July 9, 1942 to parents, Virginia M.
Woods and John E. Woods (both now deceased).
He attended Liberty Junior High and graduated from
Hutchinson High School in 1960 and Hutchinson
Junior College in 1962. In 1965 he graduated with
a BS in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State
University. In May,1966, Robert entered the U.S.
Navy and served until July, 1986. Retiring as
LCDR, Robert served as a helicopter pilot
(Vertical Replenishment in Vietnam), attended the
Naval PostGraduate School (MS, Computer
Science), finishing with Fleet Numerical
Oceanographic Center. From 1987-2014, Robert
employed productivity tools that were used in the
cardiographic field with ACS, Guident and Abbott
Labs Cardiovascular. Reading and road trips filled
Robert's time while not at work.
Robert is survived by his wife, Conni; brother,
Phil and his wife, Catherine; niece, Susan and
nephew, Jeff.
