WOC Gregory S Weaver Two Copter Pilots Killed in Crash MINERAL WELLS, Tex. (AP) - Two Army pilots were killed late Wednesday in the crash of their TH55A helicopter. They were instructor pilot Capt. John Quam, 26, and student Gregory Weaver, 20. An Army spokesman said the two were on a training flight from Ft. Wolters near Mineral Wells. Quam is a native of Austin, Minn. and Weaver is from Scottsdale, Ariz. 08 APR 70 CPT John M. Quam [IP] WOC Gregory S. Greg was a wonderful person and loved to play the guitar. He was in the Army training to be a helicopter pilot in Mineral Wells, TX, when the helicopter had mechanical problems.
