More detail on this person: Gary L. Zielinski Gary L. Zielinski, 64 of Fredonia, NY, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Bristol, VA March 26, 1948 and grew up in Dunkirk, NY. Son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Zielinski. In 1969-1970 he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was a chopper pilot with the 173rd AVN (Robinhoods) in Viet Nam. Gary was a Journeyman Electrician with Local 106, IBEW, and also owned Pisa Electric. He enjoyed riding his tractor on the farm, fishing, target shooting and most of all writing. He is survived by his wife Cindy (Pisa) Zielinski; his children: Mark (Barbara), Aaron (Heather) and Rachel (Steve Rivera) Zielinski; grandchildren: Jo-lene, Marcanna, Ethan, Brooke, Lucas, and Seth Zielinski, Sara Kelemen, Olivia and Stevie Ray Rivera. Also survived by his siblings: Monte, Marlon, Reuben, and Jason Zielinski, Flora Foye, and Robin Carr. Besides his parents, Gary is pre-deceased by two sisters: Leah Pett and Roberta Zielinski. Gary was a member of Fredonia American Legion Post # 59 and the Forest Lodge # 166 F A&M. Flowers gratefully declined. A memorial service will announced at a later date.
