More detail on this person: Lawrence M Zipsir, 60 OBITUARIES Stuart News/Port St. Lucie News (FL) - Wednesday, October 16, 2002 PALM CITY - Lawrence M. Zipsir, 60, of Palm City died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, at his home. He was a math teacher and football coach at Jupiter High School for 15 years. He served in the Marine Corps for 22 years as a pilot. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for service in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Marla Zipsir of Palm City; two daughters, Casandra Brazda and Caren Small; his mother, Bernice Zipsir; two sisters, Judith Sobota and Laurel Couchman; and a brother, Rick Zipsir; and three grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Palm City. Those who wish may contribute to Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie, P.O. Box 1168, Stuart, FL 34995-1168. Arrangements are under the direction of Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart.
