War Story:
I was the A/C of the aircraft Bill was in when he was killed. We did not crash. It happened near Cu Chi, South Vietnam. He was a W-1. He left a wife and three children (two girls and a boy). He was from Meridian Mississippi. I flew him to the med evac pad at Cu Chi where he was given medical treatment. The doctor at Cu Chi requested he be flown to Saigon where they had head trama people to try to save Bill. I than flew him to Saigon. From: Stan Perry
