War Story:
I was a roommate with Marty Coronis in 66-21. After a short medical grounding, I finished with George Marcottes in 67-5. I was assigned to Co. B 227th. in Vietnam. On one of my first missions, it might have been with Lt. Connie Stybel or Paul Vernon, we heard a may-day call. Answering to this call, we hovered into the side of a mountain and picked up the downed crew to include Marty. The next day I had the honor to present his helmet on an altar at a ceremony in his tent. I will never forget Marty having started flight school with him and then ending it that way. His memory will be with me forever. from Tony Kernagis hayyou@aol.com 11 November 2003.
