G LCP LENHARD HOWARD THOMAS KIA

War Story:
LCpl. H. T. Lenhard was killed on a night medevac mission on 691005. He was shot in the armpit, while his 46 was on the ground picking up the medevac. He was a gunner on the 46. His squadron should be listed as HMM-364. Although, I was not in his squadron, I knew him in aviation schools, and we were giving them gun support the night of the incident. He was a quiet, nice person, and we were all saddened by his death. Semper Fi, Jim Wilkening, March 1999.
