9-24-66, Cpt Ebel, WO1 Ellison, PFC Buchannan (G), SP4 Luckstead (CE)
According to Ed Shufflebarger and George Dobbs, this crash was caused by mechanical failure - push pull tube failed while in trail formation (they were last ship) up valley 506 in bad weather. No radio call, no nothing. Flight just short one ship when it arrived destination.
