Description: As part of the preparations for DOUBLE EAGLE, MAG-36 reported two UH-34D's and two UH-E's proceeded to Ba To (BS 565330) and retracted 12 recon troops from a patrol five miles northeast of Ba To. The patrol had encountered a VC force. In addition a search was conducted for four missing patrol members, three of which were subsequently located.
