Operation DOUBLE EAGLE I
Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam
Description: Also as part of operation DOUBLE EAGLE I, USAF 130s had moved a Marine battalion from Da Nang to Quang Ngai Airfield. MAG-36 helicopters then lifted the battalion into the Song Ve Valley to exploit B-52 Arc Light missions into three section of the valley.
