Operation MASHER
South Vietnam
Description: In support of operation MASHER in the An Lao Valley, 2nd Bde units found and evacuated two rice caches of 20 and 50 tons plus 126 105mm rounds. This was evacuated by air to Bong Son for use by the ARVNs. Some time earlier the VC had captured two 105mm howitzers from the ARVN.
