Description: In support of DOUBLE EAGLE, MAG-36 reported at 0900H ten UH-34D's lifted 200 troops of Mike 3/1 from BS860145 to BS747153. Mission completed without incident. At 1100H eight UH-34D's and three USAF CH-3A's lifted 56 troops, six howitzers and 16 other external lifts of Mortar Battery 3/12 from BS733164 to BS838424 without incident. UH-1E aircraft acting as TAC(A) controlled air strikes by A-4 and F-4 aircraft and adjusted artillery on a trench complex at BS890330. Portions of the trench were destroyed by the combined strikes
