Description: This was a search and destroy operation designed to reduce the steady infiltration of VC into War Zone "D". The 173d Abn Bde concentrated on the Song Be Sector. Eagle insertions and show of force patrols in VC areas yielded 34 tons of rice caches and over 2,000 documents.
