Operation HASTINGS
South Vietnam
Description: During the period from July 25 until August 3, MAG-16 helicopters replaced operation HASTINGS battalions that had been in heavy fighting with relatively fresh battalions, continue to resupply these infantry forces, and finally extracted them to close out of the operation. On the 30th, the BLT returned to the SLF on the Princeton.
