Description: This operation continued to pit elements of the U.S. 3rd Marine Div along the DMZ with the 324B and 341st NVA Divisions. As a result of the sharp actions in PRAIRIE II, the Marines committed as many as five infantry and four artillery battalions to PRAIRIE III.
