Location, Saigon
Description: A 50th ARVN REGT battalion CP was overrun by the VC near Saigon. The 3/7th Inf, 199 LIB had to conduct an airmobile assault to retake the compound as part of its support for operation FAIRFAX. This action lasted two days and would net only 12 VC killed.
