Description: BDA of O-8 is the VHPA's name for the Hatchet Force operation for SOG CCN FOB 1 to conduct a bomb
damage assessment of target area Oscar-8 in Laos. The mission was to determine if a B-52 Arc Light mission
had eliminated what was flet to be the NVA HQ directing and controlling the whole Ho Chi Minh trail.
