Location, Base Area 118
Description: This was a joint operation by the 1st Brigade, 101st Airborne and the 196th Light Infantry Briage of Task Force Oregon, the ARVN 2d INF Div, and the 2 ROK Marine Bde to conduct assaults in zone to destroy enemy forces and installations in Base Areas 118, 120, and 121. The results for US units were 3 KIA and 38 WIA with 78 enemy KIAs.
