Description: C/7/17th Cav, soon to be renamed F/8th Cav, was recently attached to the 1/1st Cav. This proved to be very successful air-ground cavalry team where the ACT would be the eye for the armored ground force. This was one of several battles they would fight west of Tam Ky.
