Description: The following is an edited version of an article titled "Avn Aids Inf With Supplies" dated 27 Jan 1968.
The 147th ASHC, 222nd Avn Bn set a new company record for gross tonnage transported flying time during a direct combat support mission recently. In support of the 199th LIB, three Chinooks hauled 317.5 tons of cargo in twenty and a half combined flying hours. The new records far exceeds the old record previously held by the company. It was achieved by excellent preparation of the loads by the 199th Bde.
