Description: The 173d Airborne Brigade was the primary element in this continuing search and destroy, pacification operation in Binh Dinh Province. Casualties: U.S. 114 KIA, 187 WIA; enemy 929 KIA and 25 POWs. The 3d Brigade, 4th Inf Div plus elements for the 23d Inf Div also supported this operation. The 22d ARVN Div had a companion operation named DAN SINH.
