Location, Song Ba Lai
Description: River Assault Division 92 carrying the U.S. 2nd Battalion, 47th Infantry is ambushed at the cross-roads on the Song Ba Lai in Truc Giang District of Kien Hoa Province. The 2nd Battalion is reinforced with the 4th Battalion, 47th Infantry and the enemy eventually withdraw under the cover of darkness. The two battalions continue to sweep the marshes south of Song Ba Lai through 7 April 1968.
