Description: The II Field Force Vietnam quarterly ORLL reported that the 2/28th Inf, 3d Bde, 1st Inf Div conducted operations between Phu Loi and Tan Uyen. At 1530H, about three kms west of Tay Uyen elements of D/2/28th Inf and L/3/11th ACR contacted an unknown number of enemy. In the three-hour engagement that followed, friendly forces killed 66 enemy while suffering two wounded.
