Location, A Shau Valley
Description: As the rains increased, the 1st Cav began destroying its fire bases and leaving the way they came, via helicopter. The 3rd Bde departed on May 10 followed by the ARVN units; then the 1st Bde extraction was completed by the middle of the month.
