Description: As part of NEVADA EAGLE, the 2/17th Cav, two companies for the 1/501st Airborne, plus the 3/3d ARVN Regiment working for the 2d Brigade, 101st Airborne Div made contact during a cordon and search of Le Xa Dong, seven miles east of Hue. Casualties: US 6 WIA; enemy 142 KIA and 46 POW.
