Description: A/7/17 Cav reported one of their LOHs exploded in mid-air while performing a VR. The Blues were inserted to recove the two bodies, however no contact with the enemy was made. The Honor Roll section states that WO1 Herbert W. Scott and SGT John T. O'Donnel were flying together when their aircraft exploded in mid air and crashed into the jungle at YA897740, killing both instantly.
