Description: The 155th Aviation Company unit history states that at 0130H, Camp Coyrell came under it's heaviest mortar attack when 83 82mm and 62mm mortar rounds were fired from approximately 500 meters north of the compound's northern perimeter resulting in over 41 hits within the perimeter. Although ten aircraft were damaged, two to the point of turn-in, the rounds evaded the hooch areas consequently there were no casualties.
