Description: Sources differ considerably when describing this operation. One states this was mostly a 9th Infantry Div operation with casualties: US 131 KIA, 997 WIA; enemy 2,248 KIA and 191 POW. This operation became part of SPEEDY EXPRESS. Another states this operation combined elements from the 7th, 9th, and 21st ARVN Infantry Divisions and the 44th Special Tactical Zone in IV Corps and claimed 15,953 known enemy casualties.
