Description: B/7/17 Cav conducted a screening operation which netted a large VC force. The 3/506th Inf, 101st ABN, based at LZ Betty, was notified and airlifted a force into positions surrounding this force. The combined efforts resulted in 14 VC KIA's and 11 weapons captured.
