Description: A/7/17 Cav reported their Scouts, working near an abandoned village, took 5 NVA under fire and killed 3. The Blues were inserted and captured 2 AK-47's plus 6 new packs with misc equipment.
The 4th Inf Div's Operation MACARTHUR report states this event was in the vicinity of the Mewal Plantation and that the enemy force was constructing bunkers.
