Description: The 23d Infantry Division conducted this search and destroy operation with five Infantry battalions (the 3/1st, 4/3d, 1/20th, 4/21, and 1/46th) and the 1/1st Cav with elements from the 2d ARVN Division. Casualties: US 43 KIA, 172 WIA; enemy 378 KIA.
