Description: The following is an edited version from the weekly Vietnam Communique column in the 14 Sep 1968 issue.
Elements of the 173rd Abn Bde and the 40th ARVN Inf Reg killed more than 100 enemy soldiers during the week in Operation Cochise Green east of Bong Son. The combined search-and-clear operation has resulted in 371 suspects detained for questioning.
