Description: B/7/17 Cav supported 3/502 Inf, 173d ABN for the last half of the month after moving to An Khe. They conducted area reconnaissance, road convoy coverage, coverage for infantry operations, BDAs, and quick reaction force. On several occasions, the Troop scrambled its resources to aid a road convoy under attack. They also gathered intelligence data about the enemy for use by the 173d ABN's future operations.
