Description: The following is an edited version from the weekly Vietnam Communique column in the 12 Oct 1968 issue.
Big Red One soldiers of the 1st Inf Div reported killing 20 enemy soldiers in very light action during the week. Elements of C/1/11th ACR under OPCON of the 1st Div, along with elements of the 5th ARVN Div discovered a large ammunition cache. It included 410 mortar rounds and 325 blasting caps.
