Description: The first battle at FSPB Julie, located two miles south of the Cambodian border in Tay Ninh Province, began when an estimated four NVA bns tried to overrun the base. The NVA prepped the base, assaulted and breached the perimeter. The 2/28th Inf, 1st Inf Div repelled the attack which cost the NVA 128 dead.
