Description: BLT 2/7 was reinforced with two more companies, K/3/26th and C/1/7th Marines, for its fifth attempt to clear the NVA from the "Horseshoe." At 1830, faced with stiff resistance, the Marine broke contact and withdrew for the night with 5 KIA and 31 WIA.
