Description: The following is an edited version from the weekly Vietnam Communique column in the 27 Jan 1969 issue.
Batteries from the 23rd Arty Grp pelted the enemy with heavy fire on Jan 10 and reported killing 14 enemy in a fire mission. An aerial observer from the 25th Inf Div reported that the eight-inch howitzer fire from C/2/32d Arty killed 14 enemy and destroyed 15 bunkers nine miles east of Tay Ninh City. An infantry sweep five miles south of Dau Tien uncovered 13 enemy bodies killed by artillery. The kills were credited to B/1/27th Arty.
