Description: I was the supply office aboard the YRBM-20, the home of HA(L)-3 DET 3, when those two birds went down in Cambodia in 1969. I had only been aboard the YRBM-20 a few weeks when this tragedy occurred. I remember LTJG Castle, LTJG Hart, and LTJG Reardon and what great guys they were. The HA(L)-3 officers definitely livened up our wardroom. It was a sad day aboard the '20' when these brave Navy aviators went down. I still think about those guys and hope that their loved ones and shipmates never forget them. I won't. Written by Bob Far in the Fall, 2001 Wolfgram.
