Description: The following is an edited version of an article titled "Battle Action Scattered."
Saigon (S&S Vietnam Bureau) - ....(mid-article) Later in the afternoon, a reconnaissance element of from the 1st Cav.'s 7th Cav. spotted a small unit traveling through low scrub brush 18 miles north-northwest of Tay Ninh, according to military spokesmen. The recon troops called in Cobra gunships who supported with minigun and rocket fire, leaving seven enemy dead, U.S. officials reported.
