Description: The 119th unit history states that it is evident that the monsoon is here. Early morning takeoff of 0700 hours was delayed due to low cumulonimbus clouds circumferencing the An Khe area and the Mang Yang Pass. Heavy rain and thunderstorms dropped visibility below VFR minimums. The Gators managed to sneak under and over the clouds as they supported the 1st Bde 4th Inf Div.
