Description: The 119th unit history states that a sub-element of the 1/14th Inf, 1st Bde, 4th Inf Div was airlifted from the swamp to an LZ 2KMs NE of LZ Welch. There was negative contact with enemy as a total of 75 grunts were inserted. The rest of the afternoon was spent resupplying the unit out of LZ Louis.
