In Military Region 1 during the afternoon of March 10, an element of the 1st Bde., 5th Infantry Division (Mechanized), while in a defensive position 12 miles northeast of Khe Sanh in Quang Tri Province, received fewer than 30 rounds of 122mm rocket fire, resulting in light casualties and no materiel damage.
