More detail on this person: MICHAEL TERRANCE ANTONELLI MAY 17, 1948 - MAY 14, 2005 Michael Terrance Antonelli, 56, passed away on May 14, 2005 in Modesto.

He was born on May 17, 1948 in Tampa, Florida and was a resident of Modesto for 15 years. Michael served in the United States Army from 1967-1969, during the Vietnam War. He was a Warrant Officer and Cobra Helicopter Pilot. He was awarded 3 distinguished Flying Crosses and the Bronze Star. For the past 30 years he had worked as a Helicopter Pilot for Medi-Flight.

He is survived by his son, David Miklas Antonelli of Kansas; his mother, Helen L. Marsh of Vacaville; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Terry Antonelli of Davis; sister-in-law, Donna D. Antonelli of Fairfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Antonelli, and his father, Albert Antonelli.

Funeral services will be at 2:00, Friday, May 20, 2005 at Fairmont Memorial Park Chapel: 1901 Union Ave, Fairfield, CA. Interment will be at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Arrangements under the direction of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield, CA.

Mike was the top grad of his class at Wolters and Rucker. He came home with three DFCs and never mentioned his heroism to me in over thirty years. He kept his battle with alcoholism private. I wish he'd have spoken up.
