More detail on this person: CW-5 (retired) Thomas Edmond Ault, a resident of Ozark, died at his home Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009. He was 71.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, from Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Dr. Billy Gaither officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery Sunday from l:30 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Covenant Hospice of Dothan, 2855 Ross Clark Circle, Suite 110, Dothan, AL 36301.

Mr. Ault, the son of the late Harvey Ault and Mildred Carter Ault, was born March 3l, 1937, in Utah. Mr. Ault, an aviator and an instructor pilot, retired with the rank of CW-5 from the United States Army after 35 years of service. He served two tours of service in Vietnam. After retiring from the Army, he was employed with the U.S. Army Aviation Safety Center as an accident research investigator at Fort Rucker. Mr. Ault was also an avid golfer at the Silver Wings Golf Course at Fort Rucker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Ault, on June 18, 2005.

Mr. Ault is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Shannon and David Schwab, of Dothan, and one granddaughter, Julianna Schwab, of Dothan.
