More detail on this person: It is with deep sadness that I share this news of the passing of yet another one of us God has called home too soon. Jay Amundson died on the morning of August 28, 2021 in a hospital in Tyler, TX due to complications from Covid-19. He was 71 years old. He was married to Charlene Ruppert in 1972 until his death, and is survived by Charlene and their children, Josh and Aimee. He also has four grandchildren. In 2016, I had the privilege to attend the C/227 reunion and meet some of the Ghostriders dad served with from Mar. 1970 - Feb.1972. It was good to meet them and hear them reminisce and reflect on their time together in Vietnam. His memorial service will be live streamed from The Bridge Fellowship Church on Sunday, September 5th at 1400 CDT:
